Love this blog! I know a Bishop who often preaches about a character of a secular book and then tags Jesus onto the end - as though Jesus is an illustration to the book, rather than the other way round. I know this isn't what Horton is saying here but the quote reminded me of the Bishop.
I fully agree with Horton's point! Jesus is to be found in the Old Testament and New alike and all preaching should centre on him and him crucified snd risen!
