Black Friday is here again!

Black Friday is here again and that means people will be gathering to hang out for hours to get the ultimate gift at the ultimate price.

His Feet on the Street will take the message of the gospel to the folks waiting in lines at several different locations and times throughout Canton.

Your prayers will be most appreciated! Pray that God opens the ears and eyes of the deaf and blind, that the gospel will go forth unhindered and that God receives the glory all night long. Below are the store opening times. We (my wife is going this year) will be at each location way before the doors open to set up, hand out tracts and witness the gospel.

12am -
Kohl's
Target
Best Buy
3am
Belk
4am
Sears
5am
Dick's Sporting Goods
K-Mart
Michael's
5:30am
Radio Shack
6am
Staples (Would people really be at this one?)
My wife will be taking the Are You Ready cross this year. Here she is below practicing her holding technique  :)
Thank you in advance for the prayers!

  1. Wayne,
Count me in for praying! Thank you for including the schedule. Excited to hear your wife is going with you. May God give you both the ability to proclaim the gospel to many.

  2. Thank you Katrina!

We are looking forward to it with great anticipation and humbleness.

Last year it was rainy and cold, but this year there is no rain in the forecast and the temp's should be in the mid 40's all night; perfect!

    Thanks again for your prayers.

Brother, be sure to remind them that the ultimate gift has already been paid for at an ultimate price, for them, by the ultimate gift giver.

Know you will be prayed for. God bless you and your wife in this great endeavour.

  4. Hey Paul!

Yes, that line, "...the ultimate gift has already been paid for at an ultimate price, for them, by the ultimate gift giver." is almost verbatim what I used before I presented the gospel.

We had a wonderful Black Friday night as we were joined by two dear friends and prayer warriors.

Thank you for the prayers, brother, and I will post some hi-lights soon.

  6. Epic and inspiring as always, sir.

You're reaching more eyes and ears of nonbelievers in a night than the average pastor probably does in a year.

  8. Hidey Ho Preacher Dawg!

The Lord impressed upon me to pray about this/BLACK FRIDAY while we were in Africa. Wild!!!! It was exciting!!! Here's what I read from John Piper in his book Desiring God (he is writing about missions)..."take heart! It may look impossible, but God has a chosen people ("the other sheep" of John 10:16)and the Good Shepherd knows His own and will call them by name when you FAITHFULLY PREACH THE GOSPEL"

Exciting to know that you & Cindy may have been the ones appointed to call other "sheep" to Jesus in the middle of the night. Grand work!
