It's that time of year again where we gear up for our largest evangelism outreach of the year!<br />
<br />
The weather forecast this year is 82 degrees and no rain! This promising forecast should bring thousands of people to Canton for a perfect evening of fireworks. When there are thousands of people gathering in your hometown area, it is a perfect opportunity to take the gospel to them.<br />
<br />
IF you are in the area and would like to join us in this massive outreach, please come...and bring tracts!<br />
<br />

<br />
We will meet up, pray up and head out. We should have a good two hours to hand out tracts and, Lord willing, have a few conversations along the way.<br />
<br />
If you can't join us, will you pray for us?<br />

Knowing we were to be in the vicinity, as well, they had apparently been on a trek seeking us out to visit with us downtown. We chatted for a while on the sidewalk and will continue the fellowship tonight at their campsite before they leave to continue their cross country mission trip across Canada. It was good to see them. </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">As was our experience yesterday, a beautiful summer like day brought out great multitudes of people to hear and receive the gospel in the downtown core of Ottawa. Well, they didn't exactly come out to hear the gospel preaching as though that was in their plans to do so but they did end up hearing it, some for some of it and some who actually stopped to hear it all. </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">Again, hundreds of tracts ended up in the hands of passersby. <br />
This Saturday, May 18th, Ball Ground, Georgia will hold its 11th annual <a href="http://www.ballgroundheritagedays.com/"><span style="color: blue;">Ball Ground Heritage Days</span> <span style="color: blue;">Festival.</span></a> This festival has been gaining in local popularity for the <a href="http://hfots.blogspot.com/2012/05/three-fer-saturday.html"><span style="color: red;">past few years</span></a> and, of course, where there are a crowd of people, <i>His Feet</i> wants to be there to hand out tracts and engage people in some one-to-one conversations.<br />
<br />
If you would like to come out to join us, we would love to have more laborers come alongside us and work in the fields that are ripe for evangelism.<br />
<br />
<i>His Feet</i> plans on being in Ball Ground from 1-4pm and then we will head on over to Canton, Ga. for the local Car Show to tract and talk to folks there.<br />
<br />
Should be a busy and fun day.<br />
<br />
If you can't make it, will you pray for us? Pray that God will be glorified in all we say and do; pray that the Holy Spirit leads us to the people God will have us interact with; pray that God will cause many to repent and place their trust in Christ alone for salvation.<br />
<br />
Soli Deo Gloria!<br />

The
Car Show is every third Saturday in the Riverstone Shopping Center, starts up at
2pm and goes until dark (Weather permitting). We usually get there sometime
between 3:30 and 4:30 and stay an hour or so. The Car Show is a free event, open
to the public and is well attended by car friendly enthusiasts; giving us lot
of opportunities to share the gospel.</div>

<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Since
this past Saturday was Easter weekend and rainy, we anticipated a lighter crowd
and fewer than usual cars in the show; we were right. Cam and I both left our
houses in the rain but were met with just a fine misty drizzle in Canton when we
arrived at 3:30. The radar showed we would have a small window of opportunity
before the next round of showers came. We prayed up then headed out to hand out
as many of the "Do You Know Him" tracts as we could while there were still
people looking at the cars in the drizzle.</div>

<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">

<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Sometimes
spiritual conversations start with us asking about the car with the car owner or
someone looking over the car. Sometimes spiritual conversations start right
after we hand out a tract and intentionally tell the person that they just
received a gospel tract. </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Sometimes
we "know" that we are about to have a spiritual conversation with
someone...especially when we (okay, I) flag someone down, hand them a tract,
tell them it's a tract and then ask them if they have a Christian background
:-) Such was the case Saturday when I saw a twenty-something year old kid, that
I had seen before around Canton, selling snack food to raise money for a local
charity. </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
After
flagging him down, handing him a tract and introducing ourselves, I
asked Trenton (after telling him what he just received was a gospel tract) if he
had a Christian background. </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<div class="gmail_default">
Here are
the Cliff Notes of how the twenty minute conversation went:</div>
</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
He
said, "Yes sir, I am a Christian." He was a very nice and courteous young man
who was soft spoken always looked me in the eyes when talking. I told him that
was great and could he share with me his salvation story.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Blank
look. </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"What
do you mean?" Well, I said, can you share with me something about the day you
came to know Jesus Christ as your Savior? </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"I
have always been a Christian."</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Really?</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"Yes
sir. I was raised a Christian and grew up a Christian."</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Trenton,
would you consider yourself a good person?</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"Oh,
yes. I am a very good person."</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
After
taking Trenton through the Law and showing him that he had broken the
Commandments, sinned against God and was in danger of the Judgment, his
self-righteous defense mechanism went up.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Still
proclaiming that he was a good person, he said that he didn't believe that
anyone went to Hell. He said that God had a place for all people and that Hell
was a fictional place that was made up to scare people into becoming
Christians. Reaching for my pocket Bible, I told him I wanted to show him in
Scripture the reality of Hell. </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Trenton
then gave me, "The Bible was written by men" speech. While I reasoned that, of
course, the Bible was written by men and didn't evolve (Thanks Ray), Trenton was
having none of it. I had him pause for a moment and tell me who Jesus is.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"Jesus
is the Son of God"</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Yes....Is
Jesus God?</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"No,
He is the Son of God"</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
He is
not God in the flesh?</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"No"</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Again
turning to the Scripture, Trenton told me that he reads the Bible every day but
you can't believe everything written in it. </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
What
parts can you believe then?</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"Huh?"</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Trenton,
do go to church locally...here in Canton somewhere?</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"No, I
don't believe you have to go to church."</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Trenton,
you have told me you don't believe in Hell, you don't believe the Bible is the
inspired Word of God, you don't believe that Jesus is God in the flesh, and you
don't believe in going to church. Trenton, based on what you are telling me, I'm
having a hard time believing you are a Christian.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"Only
God can judge me."</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Trenton,
I am not judging you...I am just having a tough time believing, based on
your beliefs, that you are a Christian. Your beliefs don't line up with what the
Scripture teaches.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"I
read my Bible every day; I have to go now."</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Trenton,
make sure you read that tract I gave you and tonight, when you get home, read
the Gospel of John chapters 1-3.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"Ok"</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Pray
for Trenton. Pray that God will open his heart to the truth.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">

<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
This coming Sunday, Christians all over the world will be celebrating the
resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ on what is traditionally called Easter Sunday.
On that day, Born-Again Christians will pause to remember an event that, not
only shook the world, but shook the very foundation of their own lives.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
But
before Resurrection Sunday could happen, there had to be a day that we now call,
"Good Friday".</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Good
Friday - This is perhaps the most ironically named day in the history of the
world.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
What
in the world was good about Good Friday?</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Consider
this:</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
*
Early that first Good Friday morning, Jesus was betrayed by a disciple named
Judas for thirty pieces of silver - <strong>there's nothing good about being
sold out by someone close to you.</strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
*
Jesus was later arrested by Roman soldiers after Judas identified him with the
"Judas kiss" - <strong>there's nothing good about being falsely
arrested.</strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
*
Jesus was illegally tried in a mock hearing by the Jewish leaders of the day. -
<strong>there's nothing good about being on trial in a kangaroo
court.</strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
* At
that trial, false witnesses were brought in to accuse Jesus of things He never
did - <strong>there's nothing good about being accused of crimes you did not
commit.</strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
*
Finding Jesus "guilty", they handed Him over to Pontius Pilot, who turned Him
over to King Herod, and was then sent back to Pontius Pilot - <strong>There's
nothing good about being paraded around town and humiliated
publicly.</strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
*
After Herod and Pilot found no claims to the crimes against Jesus, He was forced
to wear a crown of thorns, He was beaten, tortured, and then whipped with a
cat-o-nine tails to please the Jewish leaders <strong>- There's nothing good
about being beaten, whipped and tortured to please anybody - </strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
*
After appealing to the people, Pontius Pilot released a criminal named Barrabus,
and thus put in motion a sentence of crucifixion for Jesus - <strong>There's
nothing good about a crucifixion - </strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
*
Led to a hill on Calvary, Jesus was laid down on
a cross and 6" nails were driven through His hands and feet - BAM BAM BAM BAM
- <strong>There's nothing good about being nailed to a cross.</strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
* Hung
between two criminals, Jesus endured the shame and the agony that was set before
Him - <strong>There's nothing good about paying for a crime you did not
commit.</strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
*
While on the cross, Jesus struggled to breath. Constantly pushing down on His
legs to raise His body, Jesus battled asphyxiation caused by His own body weight
- <strong>There's nothing good about dying a cruel suffocating death on a
cross.</strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
* At
about the sixth hour of the day, Jesus cried out, "IT IS FINISHED" and died on the
cross - </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<strong>What
in the world could be good about Jesus dying on a cross?</strong></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<strong></strong><br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Nothing
could be good about dying on a cross if it were you or me. But you or I did not
die on that cross 2000 years ago...Jesus of Nazareth did.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
So Who
was Jesus...or to be more precise...Who is Jesus? </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Jesus
the Christ was fully God and fully man. Jesus was born of a virgin and was
called Emanuel (God with us). Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life....never
sinning in word, thought or deed; only God Himself could have done that.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Jesus
is also called the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is called Mighty God.
He is called Alpha and Omega; the Beginning and the End. He is called the Bread
of Life. He is called the Living Water. He is called the Lion of Judah and the
Lamb of God.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Jesus
is God - </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
You
see, Jesus died a sacrificial death on that cross 2000 years ago for the sins of
mankind. </div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
In Old
Testament times, a blood sacrifice had to be made for the sins you committed. A
perfect animal, usually a young lamb, would be brought to the High Priest, and
he would kill that lamb and, figuratively, lay your sins upon that animal.
</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
What
sins have you committed, ladies and gentlemen? Have you broken Gods Law; the Ten
Commandments?</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Are
you guilty of the sin of lying, stealing, blaspheming the Name of God, adultery,
idol worship, coveting, murder, not honoring your mother or father, and so
on??</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
In the
Old Testament times, this animal sacrifice was only temporary and was a shadow
of something greater to come. That something greater would be a permanent
sacrifice made by a perfect person: Jesus Christ.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
"For God so loved the world, that He

<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
God
Himself killed Jesus. The Bible says "It pleased God to crush His Son". </div>

<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
Why?
Because that was the only way you and I could have our sins forgiven once and

<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
The
death that Jesus died on that cross was a death that you or I couldn't die.
Why? Because He lived a life you or I could never live. A perfect God-Man,
Jesus, was sacrificed by a perfect God; perfectly. </div>

God's

<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
That's
why we call <em>that</em> Friday, Good Friday. It's a Good Friday because,
as the Bible says, Jesus came to forgive His people of their sins!</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
But
that's not the end of the story...three days later, after Jesus died on that
cross, God raised Him from the dead. Jesus forever defeated death and had
victory over the grave.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
What
now...what now that you have heard the gospel truth? How do you get in a right
standing with God?</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">

Either
you are going to pay for your sins in a real place called Hell for all eternity,

<br /></div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="color: #000099; font-family: georgia,serif; font-size: small;">
No,
Easter is all about the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
One Saturday morning, last July, I went down to the local DMV to get my motorcycle licences. I got there around 7:30am to be one of the first in line. I figured since the doors don't open up to 8:00, arriving thirty minutes early should get me a top ten place in line. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I figured wrong.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Upon arriving at the DMV, I quickly calculated the line to have well over 50 people waiting to get in. I parked my truck, got my paperwork together and got behind the last person standing in line. Yawning, I looked at my watch and got out my phone to scan the latest news that morning. After a few minutes of reading, I looked up and checked out the crowd in front of me. Everybody, it seemed, was on their phone reading, talking or listening to music.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Back to reading the news. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
By now, a couple dozen more folks had arrived and, like the rest of us nice robots, got on their phones and started reading, talking or listening to music and standing in a nice and orderly straight line.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I got fed up with the news and turned the phone off and stuck it into my pocket. I glanced ahead and started counting people. I looked behind me and counted more people. There were 77 people standing in this line not counting me.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I was already bored standing in line and I was getting fidgety. I looked up. I looked at the building. I looked at the street. I looked at the nice manicured bushes. I looked down at the asphalt. I read the guys shirt two people ahead of me. I looked back at the street. I saw a side walk. I looked back at the line I was standing in...glanced back to the sidewalk.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Hmmph.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Then I had that moment where you think of something and wonder why you never thought of it before. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
People standing in line and not going anywhere. A public sidewalk. An opportunity to proclaim the gospel to lots of people at one time.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I couldn't stop thinking about it. Finally, the doors opened up and we all like good cattle marched into the DMV and took numbers and waited to be called on. While waiting for my number to be called, I looked up on Google, "Open Air Preaching at DMV". What I found were numerous posts and articles people had written on the subject.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I went home and prayed on it for the next couple weeks. Two Saturday's later I decided to put feet to my faith and go for it. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My brother, Vernon Costolo, came out to support me that first morning. We prayed up and went down to the sidewalk. I opened up my stool and Vernon held my AYR cross. I presented a simple, basic gospel presentation to the crowd using an amp. The distance from the sidewalk to the line is about 100' or so and there is constant traffic on the road; I wanted to make sure they heard me.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
They did.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Since that first morning, I have tried to be out there every Saturday morning (Weather permitting) as long as this door is open for me to do so. My good buddy Cam comes out with me most every Saturday morning to hold the cross while I proclaim the gospel. When we finish, we offer free Bibles, DVD's and prayer if anyone desires it.<br />
<br />
Please do not misunderstand this post as a "Look at me and what I'm doing" kind of post. I want other Christians to know that God is at work and He is always opening doors for us to share the gospel with people. Sometimes that door opens and allows us to share with one or two people on any given day. Sometimes the door opens and we have an opportunity to share with lots of people at once.<br />
<br />
Don't miss your opportunity!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I praise God and give Him all the glory for opening the door to this opportunity! What an honor it is for us Christians to share the gospel with those whom God has set before us. Let us never grow tired of doing so and may we never lose the passion to serve Him while we traverse this world that is not our home. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Soli Deo Gloria!</div>

<br />
Where in the world have I been?<br />
<br />
It has definitely been awhile since I have posted any evangelism stories on His Feet on the Street! In fact, the last post I submitted was on the Labor Day outreach way back in 2013.<br />
<br />
To be honest, I have been struggling with "how" to post evangelism related events, stories and personal interactions. I was even on the fence of keeping up a blog at all.<br />
<br />
Why?<br />
<br />
Well...over the last few years I have seen my share of evangelism blogs (and Facebook posts) that seem to promote the evangelist over the glory of God. It seems it was more about the fame of the evangelist, their notoriety and their <i>"look at what I'm doing"</i> than about the exaltation of our Lord Jesus Christ.<br />
<br />
Now there are a lot of evangelism blogs out there that blog with a uniqueness that glorifies God while not putting the spotlight on themselves; they are clearly blogging to encourage and edify fellow Christians who regularly share their faith. To be fair, if you're blogging about evangelism, there is an element where you have to talk about yourself to some degree while not coming off as bragging or being prideful in your efforts to win the lost.<br />
<br />
I wanted to take a deep and prayerful look into why I was blogging about evangelism: Was it about me or was it about the glory of God?<br />
<br />
I pray it was always the latter and never the former.<br />
<br />
The first post on this blog was way back on May 5th, 2009. A few days later, I posted about HFOTS's first evangelism outreach. I remember <span style="color: red;">t</span><a href="http://hfots.blogspot.com/2009/05/first-outing.html"><span style="color: red;">hat outing like it was yesterday</span></a>! In fact, the first person to comment on the blog was my good friend and brother in the Lord, Paul Latour from the <a href="http://www.thewordstreetjournal.com/">Word Street Journal</a>!<br />
<br />
Since that first outing, HFOTS has been blessed beyond measure to present, proclaim and tract the gospel to a number only the good Lord knows Himself.<br />
<br />
I want this blog to edify, encourage and embolden Christians in evangelism for the glory of God - I pray that as I resume blogging with personal evangelism stories, it is never mistaken for anything more than what it is; a means by which God is glorified through the proclamation of the gospel and of His Son Jesus Christ -<br />

<div>
<span style="color: #000099; font-family: Georgia;">This Sunday, September 1st, the City of Canton will be having it's annual 4th of July Fireworks event. September 1st was the rescheduled rain-out date given after the monsoon we had on the 4th of July.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: #000099; font-family: Georgia;"></span> </div>
<div>
<span style="color: #000099; font-family: Georgia;">The 4th of July is one of our biggest outreaches of the year where we are able to hand out thousands of tracts in a short period of time before the fireworks begin. I am not sure if the crowds will be as big this Sunday as they are during the normal 4th of July show, but I and a couple others will be there nonetheless handing out tracts and, hopefully, having some conversations along the way.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: #000099; font-family: Georgia;"></span> </div>
<div>
<span style="color: #000099; font-family: Georgia;">If anyone is interested in coming out to do a little evangelism via tracts or conversation, please join us; we can always use extra hands and mouths!</span></div>

Just like Paul and Kim in Ottawa, Robert and Aneta are sold out Christians with a passion for reaching the lost in their hometown.<br />
<br />
Just as in Ottawa (and every town in the world), Providence has lost people who need to hear the gospel. Robert is a full time evangelist who spends his day reaching the lost via open-air preaching, conversations and handing out tracts. <br />
<br />
During our New England portion of the mission trip, we were able to go to Boston, Plymouth and, of course, Providence.<br />

<br />
<b>Six</b> flights across North America -<br />
<br />
<b>Four</b> days each in Ottawa, Canada and Providence, Rhode Island -<br />
<br />
<b>Two</b> loving and gracious host families -<br />
<br />
<b>One</b> glorious gospel proclaimed -<br />
<br />
Now that Mission Ottawa / New England is over and <a href="http://www.proclaimingthetruth.org/">Vernon Costolo</a> and I are reunited with our families, we look back and rejoice and give glory to God over the last week recalling the wonderful friends we made along the way, the places we have been and seen as well as the many chances we had to share the gospel, either one-to-one with people, or by the open-air opportunities we had with the multitudes.<br />
<br />
I was personally blessed to hear God glorifying street preaching from the likes of Mike Stockwell, Robert S. Gray and Chris Sippley of <a href="http://www.jeremiahcry.com/">JeremiahCry Ministrie</a>s. God gave me many one-to-one conversations where I had the honor and privilege of personally of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. God also allowed me many opportunities to proclaim the gospel to multitudes of people via open-air.<br />

God gave me an opportunity to witness and pray for this man in Ottawa<br />

This posting is just a quick overview of our four days in Ottawa. Tomorrow I will give a quick overview of our four days in the New England area.<br />
<br />
Over the next week or so, I will post stories of our evangelism mission trip in both Ottawa and the New England area. Stories that I hope will encourage you and embolden you to share your faith with strangers who, unless they hear the gospel, have no hope in this world or the eternity to come. I will also share many more pictures and maybe a video or two.....maybe I will even share with you my first encounter with a Beavertail and some Dutch Babies ;-)<br />

Soli Deo Gloria!<br />

In just a few short days (June 21st), Vernon Costolo (<a href="http://www.proclaimingthetruth.org/">Proclaiming The Truth</a>) and I will be on our way to Ottawa, Canada to proclaim the gospel with Paul and Kim Latour (<a href="http://www.thewordstreetjournal.com/">The Word Street Journal</a>). This is a mission evangelism trip that Vernon has made for the past three years and, praise God, I have been blessed to make the event with him this year.<br />
<br />
After spending four days on the Ottawa streets, we will make our way to the New England states to meet up with other street evangelists and proclaim the gospel in Plymouth, Boston, Providence and other areas before returning back home June 28th.<br />

<em>His Feet on the Street</em> will be joining <em><a href="http://www.proclaimingthetruth.org/">Proclaiming the Truth</a></em> and other evangelists today at the Dogwood Festival in Atlanta.<br />
<br />
There will be thousands and thousands of people coming to the park for all kinds of entertainment and shows throughout the weekend. <br />

<br />
We will be there to try to get as many gospel tracts as possible into as many hands as possible and, hopefully, have a conversation along the way.<br />
<br />
Please pray for us as proclaim the gospel. Pray that God opens many hearts to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Pray that God is glorified in all we do today.<br />

gospel with someone, and he says, “I don’t believe in God or the Bible, it’s all
bogus.” If you think it’s the end of the conversation, I have some good news
for you. I have found a key that unlocks a door that has just been slammed in
your face. This key works. I know, because I have used it a thousand
times.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Before we look at the key,
let’s establish what we want to achieve (this is important, because our theology
will dictate our methodology). If we believe that people can be saved by making
a decision, then our agenda will be to get decisions for Christ. But if we
believe that salvation is a work of God from beginning to end, we will be guided
by that conviction. I believe that we have as much to do with someone’s
salvation as we do in making a tree. All we can do is plant the seed, and make
sure it’s watered. It is God who makes the tree grow. So my aim is simply to
plant the seed of the Word of God in the prepared soil of the human heart. Paul
said, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase” (1
Corinthians 3:6). </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Now, let’s get back to the
key that opens a closed door. I approach a stranger and say a warm, “Good
morning.” He gives a friendly response, so as I hand him a gospel tract I ask,
“Did you get your trillion? I’m trying to fix the economy.” I then ask, “What’s
your name?” and introduce myself.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I say, “John, that’s a
gospel tract. What do you think happens after someone dies—do you think that
there is an afterlife?” He says, “No. There’s not. I don’t believe in God or the
Bible. It’s all bogus.” The door is closed, so most of us at this point would
probably say, “Okay then. It’s nice to meet you. Goodbye.”</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: #33468b; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;"><strong><b><a href="wlmailhtml:{001EE3FB-0B21-41E7-9FCB-95E455387FA8}mid://00000006/!x-usc:http://links.mkt3004.com/ctt?kn=9&ms=NTYzMjU5MwS2&r=MTE0MzkzNTgzS0&b=0&j=NjY1NjYxOTYS1&mt=1&rt=0" name="facebook_com_official_Ray_Comf" target="_blank"></a></b></strong></span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Here now is the key that unlocks the closed
door. I simply say, “I know that you don’t believe in those things,
but <em><b>if</b> </em>Heaven does exist, will you make it in--are you a good
person? ” The word “if” is the key that will unlock the door. I deliberately
emphasize it as I say it, because it’s non-threatening. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Our goal is to present the
gospel, and to make it make sense we need to do what Jesus did, and go through
the moral Law (the Ten Commandments) to bring the knowledge of sin (Luke 10:25,
Romans 3:19,20 and 7:7,13) and show the need for the Savior. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">God has given us two very
powerful helpers for this task. The primary helper is the Holy Spirit, and the
other is the sinner’s conscience. In Romans 2:15--16 the Scriptures speak of
this second helper: <strong> </strong></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">“They show that the
essential requirements of the Law are written in their hearts and are operating
there, with which their consciences (sense of right and wrong) also bear
witness; and their [moral] decisions (their arguments of reason, their
condemning or approving thoughts) will accuse or perhaps defend and excuse
[them] on that day when, as my Gospel proclaims, God by Jesus Christ will judge
men in regard to the things which they conceal (their hidden thoughts)” (Romans
2:15-16, Amplified Bible).</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOr6ITU9P55S3Vj79ZcT5Zj06VAvcnBJfYOA3g87uXVaE54z6omfzir4NgJ0xhZWGZ7Czn_N381J46OrZKCg7cF5DRgGMGnVkCU5je9S9XNaQCbzQsLnPB0hqxJaZUD_QBRZ7I5lP8cU5w/s1600/close+minded.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOr6ITU9P55S3Vj79ZcT5Zj06VAvcnBJfYOA3g87uXVaE54z6omfzir4NgJ0xhZWGZ7Czn_N381J46OrZKCg7cF5DRgGMGnVkCU5je9S9XNaQCbzQsLnPB0hqxJaZUD_QBRZ7I5lP8cU5w/s1600/close+minded.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">When the Bible says that
“the essential requirements of the Law are written in their hearts” it means
that the unregenerate person knows intuitively the code of conduct required by
the Law. In other words his conscience is like an impartial judge in the
courtroom of his mind, and that voice will accuse him of moral misconduct, if it
is awakened from its sleeping state. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">When the moral Law is
properly presented, something wonderful begins to happen. The sinner’s dormant
conscience awakens to do its God-given duty. It affirms the truth of the
Commandments. He intuitively knows that it’s wrong to lie, to steal, to
blaspheme, and to commit adultery. After going through the Commandments, “if”
is once again used—“If God was to judge you by the Ten Commandments on Judgment
Day, would you be innocent or guilty?” What he is hearing isn’t exactly what he
wants to hear, but the accusations of guilt aren’t coming from without. They are
coming from within his own heart, and that has the effect of stopping his mouth
of justification, and helping him see that he has sinned against God.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Let me put it another way.
It’s a very hot day. You are about to lift a glass of cool clear water to your
parched lips. Nothing else matters but quenching your ravenous thirst. Then
you hear someone say, “There’s arsenic in that water!” If it’s coming from a
credible source, you will more than likely believe what you hear, pull that
water away from your lips and tip it onto the ground.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">We live among a hedonistic
generation that drinks iniquity like water. Nothing else matters except
quenching the thirst for sex, porn, parties and pleasure. As the Scriptures
say, “God is not in their thoughts.” However, a biblical presentation of the
gospel injects God into his thoughts and makes him think seriously about his own
eternal salvation.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">If you want to see this
happening, please watch <a href="wlmailhtml:{001EE3FB-0B21-41E7-9FCB-95E455387FA8}mid://00000006/!x-usc:http://links.mkt3004.com/ctt?kn=32&ms=NTYzMjU5MwS2&r=MTE0MzkzNTgzS0&b=0&j=NjY1NjYxOTYS1&mt=1&rt=0" name="www_geniusthemovie_com_" target="_blank">GeniusTheMovie.com</a> and if you

Richard was involved in a car accident in 2006 that left him confined to a wheelchair. Refusing to let the wheelchair keep him from serving the Lord, Richard goes through a laborious effort regularly to take his "Are You Ready" cross out to the road for people to see.
<br />
<br />
Last week at the Super Bowl in New Orleans, Richard, in obedience to the calling of the Holy Spirit, stood on a box and open-aired the gospel for the first time.

even when evil men preached the gospel—when they did so “insincerely, hoping to
add affliction to my bonds” (see 1 Philippians 1:15-18). This is because the
quality is in the seed, and not in the seed’s sower. However, evangelists who
tell people to just ask Jesus into their heart because He will make things
better are not preaching the gospel. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The “gospel” is the good news that Jesus
suffered and died on the cross and rose again on the third day. He did this to
save us from the wrath of God’s Law and from a very real Hell. But such hard
biblical truths don’t go down too well in a blasphemous and sin-loving world.
So they leave out the essentials of sin, righteousness and judgment. They water
down the medicine to make it palatable, but in doing so they remove from it its
curative properties.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">There are no words to
describe the tragedy of this error. Not only has such misguided evangelism
filled America with bitter “backsliders,” but it has also packed the Church (in
pew and in pulpit) with false converts. Many of our pulpiteers have become
nothing more than motivational speakers, rather than Sons of Thunder who boldly
preach the righteousness of God. Feeble preachers have reproduced after their
own kind, created a feeble Church, and this has destroyed our ability to be salt
and light. Instead of being a moral lighthouse for the nation, we have become
irrelevant in the eyes of the world. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Our nation is rotten to the core with sin,
and it has found itself in gross darkness with no light, and I believe it all
traces itself back to the unbiblical and insipid “give your heart to Jesus”
message (I have expounded this with statistical evidence in a book
entitled,<em> God Has a Wonderful Plan for Your Life</em>—which you can <a href="wlmailhtml:{001EE3FB-0B21-41E7-9FCB-95E455387FA8}mid://00000073/!x-usc:http://links.mkt3004.com/ctt?kn=22&ms=NTQzODg1MwS2&r=MTE0MzkzNTgzS0&b=0&j=NjMyMTU1OTQS1&mt=1&rt=0" name="www_livingwaters_com_inde_1" target="_blank">purchase here</a>, or freely

<a href="http://truewordsmatter.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: #2288bb;">Richard Story</span></a> grew up in
Southern Alabama. His parents divorced when he was eight years old. Until he was
15 he was raised by his mother and grandmother. His grandmother was the greatest
influence in his early years. She was a very godly woman who read her Bible
daily. She would give Richard his first Bible, which he has to this
day.<br /><br />During his latter teen years, as so many young men do, Richard was
captivated by the world. All the while he held on to the false perception that
he was a good person. He went to church, but not to worship. He treated church
as if it were a night club -- a place to pick up girls. It was during this time
in his life that he prayed a prayer and walked down the aisle of the church. He
thought this made him a Christian, but there was no appreciable change in his
life. Frustrated, over the next several years he would "pray the prayer" several
more times, hoping each time it would stick.<br /><br />Richard graduated with
honors from a small, rural high school. His chosen career path kept him in the
Southeast, but he moved frequently. He worked in the energy management industry,
which encompassed a number of different fields. He even spent some time in
Antarctica.<br /><br />Richard lacked contentment. The job was never good enough.
The pay was never high enough. He always wanted more. He wanted to be the best
at whatever he did and to earn more money than anyone else doing it. To him,
contentment was a sign of weakness. God would soon strip him of his spiritual
facade and his self-reliance.<br /><br /><b>A Life-Altering Drive</b><br /><br />One day
in 2006, Richard, who was working away from home, was driving his pickup truck,
which was pulling a trailer. Suddenly, one of the tires had a blowout. As
Richard slowly tried to maneuver the truck and trailer to the side of the road,
another vehicle collided with the trailer. The vehicle that struck Richard's
trailer was traveling at an estimated 70 miles per hour.<br />

<br />
Los Angeles, CA. "Genius" is a new and chilling movie based on the life and tragic murder of John Lennon. The Producer of the Los Angeles-based film company, Ray Comfort, said, "It's chilling because it reveals what people will do for money. There are ordinary people out there who would kill you. All they need is the right amount of money and the belief that they won't get caught."<br /><br />Just before he was murdered, John Lennon told <em>Playboy</em> magazine that he didn't want to die at 40. Ironically the famous singer was gunned down at the age of 40 by a man who killed him just because he wanted to become famous.<br /><br />Comfort said, "Many think that John Lennon was a musical genius. His music has crossed cultures and even generations--the Beatles have sold more than 2,303,500,000 record albums, and in June of 2012 they hit number one on iTunes. They are as big now as they ever were and they're half dead--with the tragic loss of Lennon and Harrison."<br /><br />Ken Mansfield, the former U.S. Manager for Apple Records said, "Genius will open your eyes." Other reviewers have called it "fast-paced, thought-provoking and compelling." It is being promoted as "33 minutes that will rock your soul." Comfort's last movie "180" received more than 3.7 million views on YouTube and aired on television around the world. "Genius" has been released for free viewing on <a href="http://www.geniusthemovie.com/" target="_blank">www.GeniusTheMovie.com</a> to coincide with the December 8th anniversary of the death of John Lennon.<br /><br />Comfort added, "Abraham Lincoln said, 'Towering genius disdains a beaten path. It seeks regions hitherto unexplored.' That's what John Lennon did. He pushed the musical envelope of creativity."<br /><br /><span class="content18"><strong>The Genius trailer:</strong> <a href="http://youtu.be/ZW2lhWfa28g" target="_blank">http://youtu.be/ZW2lhWfa28g</a><br /><strong>Pictured: </strong>Each of these people freely admitted that they would murder for money.<br /><strong>Interviews or questions:</strong> <a href="mailto:aalvarado@livingwaters.com">aalvarado@livingwaters.com </a></span>Dawghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06667201139980869656noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4832933828316160024.post-78380622511271303372012-12-24T16:03:00.002-05:002012-12-24T16:03:46.982-05:00Merry Christmas!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

100th post on my blog. The 100 days out with the cross was a result of being
inspired by my friend and dear brother Paul Latour of </span></em><a href="http://www.thewordstreetjournal.com/"><em><span style="color: blue;">The Word Street Journal</span></em></a><em><span style="color: blue;"> during
Mission Ottawa 2012. He took his cross out on multiple days during his vacation.
That inspired me to challenge myself to go at out on the streets for at least an
hour a day for 100 days. (Unless there were hurricane force winds :-) )This is a
brief synopsis of my last 100 days with the cross."</span></em><br />
<em></em><br />
So begins a re-cap of the 100 days my brother in the Lord, Vernon Costolo, writes about his cross-walking adventures on his blog <a href="http://www.proclaimingthetruth.org/">"Proclaiming the Truth"</a>.<br />
<br />
I first "met" Vernon via his blog while he was still living in West Virginia and was blown away by his boldness and faithfulness to take the gospel to the lost. About a year and a half ago, Vernon re-located to Georgia and whether he is open-air preaching, handing out tracts, having one-to-one conversations or standing alone on a corner with a cross, Vernon's boldness is unmatched in the north Georgia area. <br />
<br />
I have been blessed many, many times to go along side Vernon and share in what God is doing through him. I am very thankful and blessed that I have been given the privilege to know him, labor with him and witness first hand how God is blessing this man. <br />
<br />
I love this brother!<br />

Can we "live" the gospel and lead others to Christ....or, do we actually and specifically have to communicate the gospel to the lost?
